The 2^nd Otroški bazar Maribor will be hosting from 17 till 19 May 2013 in the Ledna Hall the 1^st Festival od the third Age Maribor. The Festival, which traditionally goes on in October in Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana, will be bringing together the elderly from this part of Slovenia.

By the programme onstage, in the Intergenerational nook and on many exhibition stands, the festival will try to bring together different generation and strenghten the bonds between them. The well experienced generation of the elderly will transfer their knowledge to the younger generations, such as their grandchildren.

The first Otroški bazar in Maribor as well as the seventh Otroški bazar in Ljubljana were a real blast in both parts of Slovenia. In Tomaž Kancler's opinion, Maribor Deputy Major, Otroški bazar renewed the fair tradition in this part of Slovenia, so we decided to carry on our goal - to present slovenian as well as local products and services to families across Slovenia.

The first Otroški bazar in Maribor was attended by 14,000 visitors and 130 participants, while the seventh Otroški bazar in Ljubljana was attended by 36,000 visitors and 290 participants. By saying this Otroški bazar again proved itself to be the biggest family fair event in Slovenia and with the longest tradition.

After an amazing Otroški bazar in Maribor, which we prepared for the first time in april 2012, the story of the biggest family event still goes on.

From 6 till 9 September 2012 the 7^th Otroški bazar Ljubljana will take place at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre (Gospodarsko razstavišče).

Comprising many exhibition areas, from products for childer to many services for the whole family, Otroški Bazar in Ljubljana was only last year attended by more than 35,000 visitors.Besides a rich exhibition area, many organization and companies present theirselves in creative nooks, workshops, stage performances etc.

The 1^st Otroški bazar in Maribor was visited by 14,200 visitors who had the chance to visit more than 130 participants. Both the visitors and the participants welcomed this first edition of our family event in Maribor with a great wish for it to become a traditional fair event in this Štajerska region. Otroški bazar contributes to a revival of the city happenings and offers a great business opportunity to the local offerers of products and brands for families.

The biggest family event in Slovenia, growing for the last six years and becoming an important event among organizations, visitors and the Media, will conjure up a special novelty in 2012. Aside from the autumnal 7^th Otroški bazar Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, we are going to organize the 1^st Otroški bazar in Maribor, capital city of Štajerska region in north-eastern Slovenia. Otroški bazar's principle remains – to organize the biggest event for families from all parts of Slovenia. With your help we will present them not only Slovenian products and services, but also foreign products and tradicions.
